About

Gary has invested the vast bulk of his career designing, launching, managing and/or mentoring new business ventures that have cumulatively generated multiple billions of dollars in profitable new revenue.  One new business venture spawned an entirely new market segment (structured cabling market) that PRNewswire projects to exceed $8 billion worldwide by 2015.  Two equity JV’s he helped launch/support in China were sold for 10X their initial investment within seven years after launch.  He brings to any situation significant P&L and general management experience as well as in-depth functional experience in manufacturing, product development, cross-cultural strategic alliances, strategy/business planning, M&A integration and IP licensing.

Gary cares deeply about innovation and American manufacturing.  He serves as a volunteer mentor at Georgia Tech’s startup incubator, the Advanced Technology Development Center.

Gary believes in the power of application to cement new concepts into our daily lives; so you can expect to see recommendations in most posts about putting into practice the principles discussed in any post.

Gary is the delighted husband of his first love and the proud father of two young adult sons.
